Thomas Kiley, CPA

Thomas Kiley has been a part-time instructor with AuditWatch since 2004.
He has 13 years of public accounting experience in audit, tax and management advisory capacities at various size firms, including the launch of his own firm in October of 2006. Kiley & Company is primarily a tax practice that serves local businesses in Southeastern New England. Throughout his career, Tom has gained experience in a variety of industries including software technology, restaurants, staffing, construction, manufacturing, banking, retail, and not-for-profit entities. Prior to the launch of Kiley & Company, he was a Senior Manager with a local accounting firm in Rhode Island.
Tom has a wide range of experience which he enjoys sharing with his classes as an instructor of all five levels of Auditwatch University. In 2008, he also began teaching corporate and individual income tax classes.
Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Rhode Island Society of CPAs where he is an active member and frequent speaker with the Accounting & Auditing Committee. Tom also serves as the chairman of the Audit Committee of Dexter Credit Union, a local financial institution in Rhode Island. He earned his bachelors degree from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island specializing in accounting with a minor in political science.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys exercising and playing sports, as well as following the New England sports teams. He is the captain of the cycling team "Crusaders", which raises funds annually for the R.I. Multiple Sclerosis Society. Tom is also an avid musician and motorcycle enthusiast. He resides in Warren, Rhode Island.
